Aspen Ridge Cabins is a family-owned vacation rental business located in South Fork, Colorado. The property offers multiple cabin units with kitchens, along with additional lodging options added over time, including yurts and a mountain home. Known for clean accommodations and a convenient location near both outdoor recreation and town amenities, Aspen Ridge Cabins has served vacationers for over a decade.

Project Overview

I began working with Aspen Ridge Cabins in 2014, shortly after the business was purchased by the original owners, Cody and Shandra. At the time, they needed a new website that would allow guests to view availability and make reservations online — a critical requirement for a growing vacation rental business.

The initial website redesign focused on usability and immediate online booking, which significantly improved the customer experience and business performance. Several years later, as the owners prepared to sell the property, the website was overhauled again to modernize the design, improve booking clarity, and present the business professionally to both guests and prospective buyers.

The business was subsequently purchased by new owners, Jeremy and Katy, who remain active clients today. Since the ownership transition, the website has continued to evolve to support expanded offerings, increased bookings, and ongoing growth.

Under the current ownership, the site continues to support expanded lodging options and year-round availability. Integration with platforms such as Airbnb, VRBO, Booking.com, and Google Calendar has improved booking efficiency and reduced administrative overhead.

Traffic and bookings have remained strong even during traditionally slower seasons, supported by ongoing updates, periodic enhancements, and coordinated social media activity. While the owners manage much of the day-to-day content themselves, I continue to handle monthly updates, maintenance, and more complex technical work.
