The Gallery at The Haley Library

For 33 years, The Haley Library has hosted an annual art show and sale at their Midland location. The show features three Southwest Impressionist artists and their paintings. As America entered into lock downs and isolations due to the covid pandemic, The Haley decided it was time to take the show online at The Gallery at The Haley Library website. Doing so allowed a broader reach to a new audience, improved sales, and allowed the show to go on despite the social restrictions implemented during the pandemic.

Project Description

The Haley wanted to implement an e-commerce solution so off-location customers could buy paintings and have them shipped to them, or pick them up in person after purchase. Additional marketing ensured we reached a nationwide audience, and improved sales overall. We opted to implement WooCommerce to sell the paintings, but without a shipping option so the The Haley could purchase shipping options offline based on the size of the painting, and the customer requirements.

Project Goals

Creating an e-commerce solution in addition to the live sale located in Midland as rapidly increased the marketing potential and has increased sales to a much broader audience. Pat McDaniel, Director of The Haley Library, has been impressed with the results, and the potential as he creates new events for The Haley. We will continue the online Gallery art show in the future. Not only has the online shopping event helped drive sales for The Haley, the artists have appreciated the upturn in audience exposure and sales as well.
